Job Purpose

Lead - Digital and Enterprise Applications is responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and delivery of enterprise-wide digital platforms and business applications. This role is critical in driving digital transformation initiatives, optimizing enterprise systems, and enabling data-driven, customer-centric operations. Align technology capabilities with business strategy to deliver impactful, scalable, and secure solutions.

Accountabilities & Activities

1. Business & Processes

  • Define and execute a digital application strategy aligned with business goals and transformation roadmaps.
  • Champion process re-engineering and automation through enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, SCM, HCM).
  • Ensure seamless integration of systems across business functions to drive operational excellence.

2. Technical

  1. ERP – SAP

    • Lead the end-to-end creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for new plant and features in SAP, ensuring alignment with business operations, compliance standards, and supply chain integration.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document functional and non-functional requirements for SAP feature enhancements, driving scalable and user-centric solution design.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations by translating complex business needs into actionable SAP configurations and development tasks, ensuring timely delivery and system integrity
  2. Digital Applications

    • Ensure application automation through cloud adoption, low-code platforms (Power-suite/ Blue prism) and API integration.
    • Promote usage of Microsoft solutions such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Fabric etc to enable cost savings
    • Govern software lifecycle management, vendor engagement, license optimization, and compliance.
    • Drive enterprise data strategy and enable advanced analytics and reporting through digital platforms (Power BI)

3. People Excellence

  • Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional digital and applications team (internal and outsourced).
  • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the technology function.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new systems and practices.
